Thee Leviathans | Cryptophonic Surf Rock

If you listen to instrumental music with a story in your mind's eye, you've got an imaginary IMAX screen right here. This is far from paint-by-numbers surf music, everything feels purposefully and adeptly crafted for effect... One of the most immersive records of the year.

Enter The Dusky Realm doesn’t just raise the bar for surf instrumental albums - it obliterates it! Every track is a vivid journey, dripping with atmosphere, masterful musicianship, and a fearless sense of adventure... This is a triumphant, genre-defining release that demands to be experienced at full volume.

A bold new frontier in modern surf instrumental music! Enter The Dusky Realm stands out because it doesn't treat surf music as a museum piece. Instead, it treats the genre as a living, evolving art form capable of cinematic storytelling, genre fusion, emotional depth and world building. It's a reminder that surf music can be more than beach nostalgia - It can be adventurous, otherworldly, and richly imaginative... It's not just an album - it's a world.

Surf rock and elder gods... Super good. Highly recommended!

Not so much a band as a force of nature, they appear without warning, strike hard, then fade back into the night… Introducing the mysterious, unstoppable sounds of Thee Leviathans!
